MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Natalie Maggitt

iThriverHer brewed as a passion project for over 15 years before sprouting into a nonprofit organization in 2020. Born of a desire to pour into historically underrepresented middle/high school girls (affectionately known as ThriveHers), our aim to help them grow into their personal purpose in a safe space where they can blossom.

Using an experiential learning approach, we expose ThriverHers to the STEAM disciplines through hands-on workshops, training modules, field trips, leadership opportunities and mentoring relationships. We believe these positive, developmental experiences will prepare them for internships and jobs. Overall, we will help build the confidence needed for ThriveHers to excel in every corner of their lives.

To quote an African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” In short, we can not be impactful without your support. We are grateful for our village of team members, donors, corporate and nonprofit partners, and volunteers who help us achieve our mission. We hope you deem our cause worthy enough to join forces to multiply our impact. Together we can raise intelligent, resourceful, problem solvers who share a passion for giving back to their community.

Thriving in service,

Dr. Natalie Clark Maggitt, Founder/CEO
