ThriveHers Can Code Workshop

iThriveHer is excited announce the *ThriveHers Can Code Workshop! This event is part of our Cyber ThriveHer Academy (CTA) where middle and high school girls are exposed to technology-based programs such as cyber security, coding, and AI through awareness training, gaming experiences, and tech skills development.
We are thrilled to be partnering with Amazon to host this workshop on Saturday, July 27th at Northern Virginia Community College – Woodbridge Campus (Bldg WAS, Room 359).
Girls in grades 6th – 10th will learn the basics of coding using the Python programming language. Participants will work individually and in teams to problem-solve and tap into their critical thinking skills to create games and apps in a safe and nurturing environment.
A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

*This workshop is designed for beginner-level participants who have minimal exposure to coding activities.
